A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for a Corporate Finance Executive to join its expanding Corporate Finance team. With offices across the West Midlands, the firm supports businesses and private clients with joined-up tax, audit and advisory services.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of transactions, the team is looking for someone who enjoys working on live deals, analysing financial information and supporting clients through key stages of the transaction process.
The Role
You’ll work on a mix of buy-side and sell-side projects across the lower mid-market, supporting transactions from early analysis through to completion. You’ll be involved in financial due diligence, valuations, modelling and preparing clear, commercial insights for clients. This is a hands-on role with regular exposure to senior team members, target management teams and clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting M&A transactions from initial review to deal completion
- Carrying out detailed financial analysis, valuations and financial modelling
- Assisting with financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital and cash flow reviews
- Working with target management teams to gather information and challenge assumptions
- Preparing clear reports, presentations and other client deliverables
- Helping senior colleagues deliver successful transactions
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development activity
About You
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial awareness
- Comfortable working with financial data and explaining insights clearly
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and transaction mechanics
- Experience in financial due diligence, transaction services or corporate finance
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving, deal-driven environment
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and clients
- Proactive, organised and able to take ownership of your work
- A collaborative team player
- ACA, ACCA or CFA qualified/part-qualified (or similar)
