What if your next strategy role gave you the chance to shape campaigns for one of the world's most recognised financial brands... while working in a growing independent agency where your ideas genuinely influence the direction of the business?
If you're looking to move away from being one of many in a large agency and into a business where your thinking has real impact, this could be exactly what you've been waiting for.
We're partnering exclusively with a fast-growing independent digital communications agency with offices in London and New York. They combine strategic thinking with exceptional creativity to deliver integrated campaigns for globally recognised brands across financial services, luxury lifestyle, travel and retail.
Despite their impressive client portfolio, they've retained the culture of an ambitious independent agency—collaborative, entrepreneurial, creative and refreshingly free from unnecessary hierarchy. As they continue their international growth, they're looking for a Senior Strategist to become a key member of the team.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional strategy role.
You'll work across brand, communications and digital strategy, partnering with senior clients and creative teams to develop insight-led campaigns that solve real business challenges.
One day you could be uncovering audience insights for a global financial services campaign. The next, shaping creative propositions for luxury lifestyle brands or contributing to new business pitches that help drive the agency's continued growth.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, have genuine influence over strategic direction and enjoy the kind of exposure that's often difficult to find in larger agencies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing compelling, insight-led strategic thinking that inspires outstanding creative work
- Translating complex challenges into clear, engaging and commercially effective strategies
- Creating integrated campaign strategies across digital, social and communications channels
- Leading audience research, competitor analysis and market insight
- Building value propositions, messaging frameworks and creative briefs
- Collaborating with creatives, account teams and clients throughout campaign delivery
- Presenting strategic recommendations confidently to clients and stakeholders
- Playing an important role in agency growth through new business pitches and proactive client thinking
- Helping shape the future of a growing international agency
About You
You'll probably have around 4-6 years' agency strategy experience and be someone who loves solving problems through insight and creativity.
You'll also bring:
- Experience developing integrated marketing and communications strategies
- Strong understanding of digital and social marketing
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness alongside strategic and creative thinking
- Confidence challenging ideas and influencing clients
- Curiosity, ambition and a collaborative mindset
- A genuine passion for creating work that delivers measurable results
Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys getting stuck in, working closely with talented people and making a visible impact.
What's On Offer
- £50,000 salary
- Annual bonus scheme
- 25 days' holiday plus Christmas closure
- Birthday off every year
- Private healthcare
- Pension
- Gym membership contribution
- Hybrid working (3 days per week in the London office)
- Genuine career progression within a growing international agency
Why This Role?
Opportunities like this don't come along often.
You'll join a business that's growing, ambitious and winning exciting work internationally, while still offering the agility, autonomy and collaborative culture that makes independent agencies such rewarding places to build your career.
If you're ready to take the next step and work on campaigns that genuinely make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
