Our client is a well-established and growing B2B marketing agency in search of a Client Services Director to lead the commercial performance and growth of its client portfolio. Sectors include construction, engineering, technology and professional services. This isn’t your typical Client Services Director role, as your focus will purely be on client development and less focus on delivery. You will very much be the face of the business when it comes to the client portfolio.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role with responsibility for revenue growth, margin protection, senior stakeholder relationships and commercial strategy. The successful candidate will help ensure growth is sustainable, deliberate and aligned to delivery capability. The role will suit a commercially astute leader with deep experience in B2B agency environments and a strong track record of growing complex client portfolios. The position carries significant influence, with potential for broader senior leadership team involvement for the right individual.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Own commercial performance across the client portfolio, including revenue, margin and profitability
- Identify and deliver account growth through upsell, expansion and strategic repositioning
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Lead commercial input into new business, including pitch strategy, pricing and scope
- Support effective onboarding of new clients
- Contribute to proposition development and sector focus
- Represent the agency externally through senior-level engagement and thought leadership
What experience we need:
- Significant senior-level experience in client services, commercial or account leadership
- Background in a B2B marketing or creative agency is essential
- Proven ability to drive profitable growth across complex client portfolios
- Strong understanding of agency commercial models, retainers and scope management
- Confident operating at board and senior stakeholder level
This role offers real autonomy, senior-level influence, and the chance to shape both client success and agency growth in a meaningful way. Salary is dependent on level of experience and is 75k-100k plus bonus.
