The Opportunity:

This is a true new business role perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and converting opportunities. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving ~5% YoY revenue growth through new client acquisition
  • Securing 3–6 major new clients annually
  • Targeting senior stakeholders across Marketing, Procurement, Events & Comms
  • Owning the full sales cycle: outreach → discovery → pitch → conversion

You won’t be alone, you’ll have tools, data, and support but success is down to your energy, curiosity, and commercial instinct.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Proactively generating and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Running high-impact discovery meetings and presentations
  • Building tailored, insight-led proposals with internal teams
  • Using tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & outreach platforms
  • Managing and mentoring a part-time BD Coordinator
  • Representing the business at events and trade shows
  • Keeping a sharp, data-driven pipeline with clear reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • You’re not just a salesperson - you’re a strategic relationship builder
  • Proven track record in new business / business development
  • Experience selling into corporate clients with longer sales cycles
  • Confident presenter with strong storytelling ability
  • Commercially sharp, target-driven, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and outbound tools
  • Able to spot real opportunities and walk away from the wrong ones
