Our client is a very ambitious B2B marketing agency that continues to grow year on year and offers the perfect marriage between brand storytelling and results led measured marketing. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer who has a solid track record in running a mid to large sized B2B marketing agency to take over the helm of the day to day internal management of this extremely successful agency.
As this position has more of an internal focused role, it has been created to free up the CEO and Strategy Directors to focus on the agency's external international growth plans as well as continue to manage and develop senior client relationships. The Chief Operating Officer role is a complimentary counterpart to the CEO and very much a leadership role, focusing on scaling, helping to align the operational, client relationship and cultural success of the agency. The COO is the person who gets things done and empowers others to perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial and budgetary responsibility
- Cultivate the senior management team and build internal relationships
- Oversee and manage the entire agency operation in the UK and eventually oversee the US when established
- Shift culture
- Operational success
- Create and implement an agency development strategy
- Review and develop current agency structure
- Oversee all HR and hiring requirements in both the UK and US
