Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

Working hours: 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs, early finish Friday

Salary: Circa £28,000 + progression opportunity + benefits

The Role: You will be the main contact for customer communication and being the face of the business. You will be responsible for dealing with contract updates, issues, and general coordination. The customers you work with are mostly large aerospace companies and engine suppliers, so accuracy and reliability are important. You will deal with customer queries and communication on a daily basis to keep business relationships ongoing.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage the customer order book and process accurate sales orders, including the review and circulation of purchase orders before customer transactions.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and customers, providing support across both operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Support team members with order book strategy and assist in handling complex customer requirements, particularly on the repair side - raising orders, preparing quotes, and coordinating stakeholder approvals.
  • Ensure compliance in customer transactions, including generating pro forma invoices and managing trade compliance in collaboration with internal systems and the Export Trade Compliance team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate deliveries and maintain business expectations.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service role, dealing with customer expectations in either a manufacturing, logistics, or similar business customer environment.
  • Stakeholder and customer facing experience with the knowledge to handle customer standards.
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft tools and other Microsoft Office practices.
  • Previous manufacturing and/or aerospace background and the use of FARS and DFARS is a strong plus but not essential to have.
  • Familiarity with internal systems such as SAP or Workforce, but this can be trained.
