As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will have the opportunity to be trained in mechanical assembly for an exciting Aerospace project. You will use your assembly experience to drive the project and lead standards within a progressive company which is looking to invest in an individual for the long run.

What You\’ll do:

As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will:

  • Assemble & testing of a niche temperature sensor component for a well-established project
  • Mechanically build component parts to project specifications
  • Set up jigs, fixtures and equipment for assembly or test purposes
  • Keep to ongoing manufacturing operations standards and deadlines

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Assembler or similar position
  • Exposure to a similar industry background within a manufacturing or production environment
  • An understanding of Mechanical Assembly is a strong plus but can be trained
  • Review engineering drawings and apply best practice to project standards
  • Eagerness for career progression and a team-player

What else do you need to know?

  • Full training is provided at every step
  • The hours for this role are on day shifts (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thu, 07:00-12:00 Fri, with earlier start/finish available!)
  • Substantial overtime available on evenings, nights and weekends once fully trained
