Our client is a leading insurance business who are seeking to appoint a Risk Manager to join its Enterprise Risk Management function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk professional looking to develop their career within a broad second-line Enterprise Risk Management role, working closely with senior stakeholders and first-line teams across the business. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery and continued development of the Group's ERM framework, with exposure across ORSA, Risk Appetite, RCSA, risk assessments and senior risk reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and project manage the ORSA process, including quarterly and annual reporting
- Develop and deliver 'deep dives' and thematic risk reviews
- Support the implementation and development of the ERM Framework
- Provide effective second-line risk challenge to the business
- Support the quarterly Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
- Support implementation of the Risk Appetite Framework, including quarterly metrics
- Produce and analyse risk MI and reporting for senior management and committees
- Build strong relationships with first-line teams including Underwriting, Claims and Third Party Capital
- Promote risk management best practice and support risk training across the Group
We are looking for a risk professional with:
- Strong Enterprise Risk Management / ERM experience
- Experience within a second-line risk environment
- Knowledge of ORSA, Risk Appetite and RCSA
- Experience undertaking risk assessments and providing effective challenge
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical, project management and report-writing abilities
- Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders
- Insurance / London Market experience is essential
- A commercial outlook and desire to partner with the business
