My client is a global insurance corporation based in the City of London. Due to an internal move we are assisting in the recruitment of a Risk Officer to take the lead on operational risk. This is a varied and highly visible role that will see you work very closely with the Head of Enterprise Risk Management. You will be supporting the running of the risk department including the management of deadlines and forward planning for a strong risk identification, assessment and reporting process as well as managing operational risk in line with the Group’s Risk Management Framework. Finally you will promote the implementation of the Risk Management Framework across the business of scenario testing for the ORSA, validation, and regulatory stress tests purposes. Responsibilities include: Development of, implementation of, administration of, and compliance with the company’s risk framework and risk management processes and procedures. Annual review and update of risk frameworks and policies. Planning and conducting the quarterly Risk & Control Self-Assessment process. Conducting the ORSA process including the production of quarterly and annual reports. Development and maintenance of the Risk Register. Ensuring that the Risk Register is accurate, up to date, holds risk data to the appropriate level of detail and is properly used in the business.
