We are seeking experienced Senior Architectural Technicians to join our Manchester, Sheffield and Peterborough studios. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across all our sectors, on a variety of interesting schemes on a national scale. As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will lead the technical development of projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with architects, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure that design intent is translated into robust, coordinated, and buildable solutions. You will take ownership of project packages, lead and develop junior team members, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex schemes.

Qualities & Skills Required

  • Relevant Technical qualifications.
  • Proven ability of running projects in the UK, through all RIBA stages.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • BIM experience desired but not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations.
  • Experience of detailing complex buildings and ability to produce comprehensive working drawing packages.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities / Deliverables

  • Lead projects working independently or with a team.
  • Lead production of technical information for tender packages and construction information.
  • Attend project meetings with client, contractor and other consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop coordinated design information across RIBA stages 3, 5 and 5.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Support project delivery on site, including inspections and issue resolution.
