THE ROLE
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on fast-paced, high-impact content creation and has a deep understanding of social media storytelling. Here you will closely work with the Digital Marketing Manager to conceptualise, design, and build engaging short-form videos, reels, and branded assets that capture attention and communicate the brand’s mission. With a deep understanding of social-first storytelling, platform trends, and visual impact, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping their digital identity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and produce motion graphics, animated assets, reels, and short-form videos for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, tone, and target audiences.
- Translate briefs into visually compelling content that captures attention and communicates core messages.
- Develop consistent visual styles and branded templates to ensure recognisability across all formats.
- Edit and animate existing assets, footage, and imagery into engaging digital content.
- Stay on top of platform trends, video specs, and algorithmic behaviours to ensure best-in-class delivery.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and creative integrity.
- Assist in developing light static design assets when needed (e.g. thumbnails, storyboards, branded graphics).
SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2–4+ years of experience in a motion graphics or video design role, ideally within a lifestyle, consumer brand, or agency environment.
- Strong portfolio of motion content designed for social media platforms, especially Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok videos, and paid social assets.
- Solid understanding of content formats, aspect ratios, and creative trends specific to each platform.
- Experience editing short-form video, syncing audio, adding captions, transitions, and effects.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working as part of an internal creative team.
- Organised, efficient, and adaptable — able to handle a mix of planned and reactive content.
- A natural interest in wellness, science, or future-focused health is a plus.
