We're looking for a Senior Databricks Architect to lead the design of enterprise-scale data solutions that will power real-time analytics, critical business decisions and next-generation data products. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence architecture strategy, champion engineering best practices and drive the adoption of modern data technologies across a complex organisation.

The Role
- Design and implement real-time data ingestion.
- Develop robust data solutions in Databricks.
- Lead the adoption of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Design and deliver reusable, high-quality data products aligned to Data Mesh principles.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security and reliability across the data estate.
- Partner with business, domain and platform teams to enable data-driven decision making.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience using Databricks.
- Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures.
- Strong knowledge around modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Legacy integration experience.
- Knowledge around Data governance processes.
