The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
This role will lead, monitor, optimise, and continuously improve the delivery of software components to enable a Council to provide simple user experiences and achieve better outcomes for people and businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that writes clean, accessible code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse, developing software that meets user needs and fosters meaningful interactions and relationships with users.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent by experience in a relevant subject.
- Hold relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure Services.
- Understanding of application lifecycle management in Power Platform.
- Knowledge of JSON, Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
- Qualification or demonstrable capability with relevant vendor business applications.
Desirable:
- Understanding of ICT standards including HMG Security Policy Framework, ITIL V3, ISO/IEC standards, PRINCE2, MSP.
- Good communication skills, able to present information simply and accessibly.
- Experience balancing user needs with organizational priorities.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development aligned with SFIA V7 competencies.
