Python Developer - AI & Automation - London (Hybrid) - Up to £50,000

We're working with a growing technology-led consultancy that is investing heavily in AI, automation and internally developed applications.

As the business continues to scale, they are looking for a Python Developer to help build, enhance and support a growing portfolio of internal tools, automations and AI-driven solutions.

This is an opportunity to join a business where technology is actively shaping the way teams work and where developers are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and have a genuine impact.

This role would suit someone who enjoys building practical solutions, automating processes and solving real-world business problems.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping turn ideas into applications and tools that improve efficiency, productivity and user experience.

You'll remain hands-on technically while gaining exposure to AI technologies, application ownership and solution design within a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Building and enhancing internal applications, automation solutions and AI-powered tools.
  • Developing integrations between internal systems, Saa S platforms and third-party APIs.
  • Working directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Creating tools that improve internal processes, efficiency and user experience.
  • Investigating and resolving issues across applications, integrations and automations.
  • Exploring emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to drive business value.
  • Supporting and improving existing internal applications throughout their lifecycle.
  • Contributing to development standards, documentation and best practices.
  • Working closely with both technical and non-technical teams across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial experience developing with Python.
  • Experience building applications, automations, integrations or internal tooling.
  • Experience working with APIs and connecting systems together.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • An interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
  • Someone who enjoys understanding business problems and building practical solutions.
  • Confidence working directly with users and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, pragmatic approach and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Nice to Have
  • Java Script experience.
  • Exposure to Power Platform, Power Apps or Power Automate.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Power Shell scripting experience.
  • Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude or similar.
  • Knowledge of Share Point, Dataverse or Entra ID.
