Working closely with a newly established data leadership team and leading Microsoft partners, you'll play a central role in creating a scalable, secure and high-performing data platform that will become the single source of truth for the organisation.

- You Will Work With
- Designing and implementing a modern enterprise Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architecture
- Building scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric
- Creating and governing Medallion Architecture frameworks across the organisation
- Developing data ingestion solutions through API and batch integrations
- Designing robust data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Databricks Workflows and Delta technologies
- Defining data modelling standards including Star Schema and Data Vault approaches
- Establishing data governance, security, lineage and access control frameworks
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, marketing and technology
- Working alongside Microsoft partners to deliver a best-in-class data capability
- Supporting the organisation's future ambitions around advanced analytics, reporting and AI

- Key Experience
- Experience designing and delivering modern Data Warehouse, Lakehouse or Enterprise Data Platform solutions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- Commercial experience with Databricks would be highly beneficial
- Expert understanding of Medallion Architecture principles
- Experience designing API and batch data integrations at scale
- Strong data modelling knowledge including Star Schema and/or Data Vault methodologies
- Experience implementing data governance, security and access control frameworks
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, Py Spark, Databricks SQL or T-SQL
- Ability to engage with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
- Previous architecture experience preferred, though strong Senior Data Engineers looking to step into an architecture-focused role will also be considered
