Our Technology team advises entrepreneurs, private equity sponsors, and public companies across a broad range of strategic and financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, follow-on offerings, private capital raises, and other strategic advisory assignments.

As we continue to expand our European Technology franchise, we are seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join our London-based team.

Position Overview

The Junior Vice President will play a critical role in the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions while supporting the origination and development of client relationships across the technology ecosystem.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers and guide teams of Analysts and Associates across multiple live transactions and business development initiatives.

This role offers significant exposure to leading technology companies, private equity investors, and high-growth businesses across software, fintech, internet, IT services, infrastructure software, cybersecurity, and broader digital sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A, strategic advisory, equity and debt financing transactions.
  • Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal process.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial analyses, valuation materials, marketing presentations, information memoranda, management presentations and board materials.
  • Develop complex financial models including merger models, LBO analyses, DCF analyses and accretion/dilution analyses.
  • Engage in client coverage and business development activities.
  • Participate in client meetings, management presentations, investor discussions and transaction negotiations.
  • Review and provide guidance on the work of Analysts and Associates, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate executives, private equity sponsors, investors, lawyers and other market participants.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic achievement.
  • Significant investment banking experience gained within the Technology sector at a leading investment bank or advisory firm.
  • Demonstrated track record executing complex M&A and capital markets transactions.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and transaction processes simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing abilities and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
