Role Summary
Working directly for the IT Programme Manager within the International IT organization, the International Engineering team is engaged in a programme of change that will result in the relocation of the European Head Quarters. You will be responsible for the delivery of key projects and workstreams relating to this programme of work, in addition to business as usual activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project plans and schedules for all work streams
- Resource planning to identify required resources and availability
- Publish plans and schedules, managing execution of all tasks
- Raise quotes and requisitions for required services/materials
- Undertake project budget tracking activities
- Co‑ordinate infrastructure and application team tasks
- Setup and maintain risk and issue registers
- Produce and present regular status reports
- Schedule and chair regular meetings/updates with Working Group Meetings
- Effective escalation of issues to IT Programme and Infrastructure Managers
Experience
~3 years’ technical project management experience working within financial services organisations. Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, specifically data centres, networks, storage and server technologies is highly desirable. Whilst no formal project methodology is applied, knowledge of Prince2 or equivalent would be beneficial.
