As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a consultant developer to join the small Securities Finance team to deliver functionality to support the UK/EU T+1 Regulatory initiative.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks- Development of the core in-house platforms.
- Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish.
- Working with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization.
- Unit testing, assisting with user testing, and working closely with the release management team.
- Strong .NET skills, with server and ideally client-side experience.
- Follows SOLID development principles, with experience of supportive frameworks/libraries.
- Strong SQL knowledge, preferably MS SQL Server and/or MySQL.
- Understanding of Securities Lending is desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area, e.g., Equity swaps.
- Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality.
- Must be able to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with colleagues around the world.
- Experience in one or more of the following beneficial: Global One, RabbitMQ, BitBucket (Git), Bamboo, Java, Windows development.
