The Private Financing Solutions team specializes in raising capital for private companies in the EMEA region and is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of equity and equity‑linked private placements (Series C to pre‑IPO), as well as minority equity and equity‑linked transactions.
The successful candidate will be expected to have prior experience of private capital markets transactions, including growth equity capital raising and sponsor‑backed minority deals.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks- Lead with preparation of pitch materials and internal processes associated with private placement projects.
- Support deal team on execution and structuring of private placement transactions and liaise with client and external advisers to ensure smooth execution of deals.
- Carry out transaction modelling and help manage due diligence workstreams.
- Assist in identifying and examining the merits of potential transactions, including, but not limited to, carrying out market research, company analysis, compiling and managing databases of precedent transactions.
- Maintain an investor database and identify potential new investors.
- Lead and manage internal, team‑based projects and initiatives.
- Coach, help develop and motivate other junior(s) in the team.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Hands‑on experience of private capital markets transactions and demonstrable knowledge of private placement processes, technical know‑how and the private investor community.
- The successful candidate is expected to be a proactive self‑starter who can take responsibility for pitch book preparation and deal support with minimal supervision.
- The successful candidate will benefit from good exposure to deal flow, clients and senior bankers and will be expected to perform to a very high standard.
