We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the UK Investment Banking team in London. As an Associate, you will play a key role in executing M&A, equity, and debt transactions for UK corporate clients across multiple sectors. Manage all aspects of deal execution, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence, preparation of pitch materials, and deal documentation.
- Financial Analysis: Develop and review complex financial models to support transaction decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Market and Industry Research: Conduct in-depth market, industry, and company research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality work output.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including product specialists (Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance), legal counsel, and compliance teams.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or management consulting. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. An MBA or CFA qualification is a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling, valuation (DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable), and analytical skills.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
