Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of equity transactions including IPOs, follow-ons, rights issues, block trades, and convertible bonds. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in finance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of ECM transactions across EMEA, including IPOs, rights issues, block trades, and equity-linked deals.
  • Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, and transaction documents.
  • Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Coverage, Syndicate, Legal) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, lawyers, accountants).
  • Monitor equity markets and contribute to market commentary and pricing recommendations.
  • Attend client meetings, roadshows, and deal-related events, as needed.
  • Contribute to origination efforts by identifying trends, opportunities, and prospective clients.

Qualifications:

  • ~3+ years of experience in ECM, Investment Banking, or a related capital markets role.
  • ~ Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • ~ Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • ~ Deep understanding of equity markets, capital raising structures, and regulatory frameworks.
  • ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
