Vice President - M&A Team

b Overview /b p In this role you will lead the execution of complex M A transactions within Jefferies London M A team, supporting senior bankers in originations and managing multi-stakeholder processes. You’ll oversee transaction workstreams, liaise with clients and advisors, and mentor junior staff, contributing to the growth of a leading cross-border advisory franchise. You will work closely with industry coverage and product teams to deliver strategic advice and rigorous execution. This is an influential, high-visibility position with broad client exposure across Europe. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead day-to-day execution of mergers and acquisitions and related advisory assignments /li li Manage end-to-end transaction workstreams from initiation to signing/completion /li li Coordinate due diligence with clients, lawyers, accountants, and external advisers /li li Prepare and review financial analyses, valuation materials, board presentations, and transaction documentation /li li Ensure timely, accurate client-facing materials and maintain quality control /li li Oversee and guide sophisticated financial modelling (DCF, comparables, accretion/dilution, merger consequences, LBO) /li li Assess strategic alternatives and transaction structures for client decision-making /li li Build trusted client relationships and participate in senior-level discussions /li li Support senior bankers in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities /li li Pitch, market analysis, and strategic marketing initiatives for deal flow /li li Supervise and develop Analysts and Associates; foster collaborative, high-performance culture /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelors degree or equivalent with strong academics /li li Experience in investment banking with substantial M A exposure /li li Proven track record of executing complex transactions /li li Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, deal structuring, and processes /li li Experience managing multiple stakeholders and concurrent workstreams /li li Proven ability to lead and develop junior professionals /li li Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills /li li Ability to interact confidently with senior executives and clients /li li Strong project management and organizational skills /li li High attention to detail and commitment to excellence /li li Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute to franchise growth /li li Collaborative leadership style /li /ul ul li Commercial judgement /li li Strategic thinking /li li Communication and interpersonal excellence /li li Financial modelling (DCF, comparables, accretion/dilution, merger consequences, LBO) /li li Valuation methodologies /li li Deal structuring /li /ul
