As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a strong developer to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building and maintaining our Global Securities Finance platform – benefiting front and middle office users in multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development of the core in-house platforms, both on-prem and cloud (AWS).
  • Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish.
  • Working with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization.
  • Unit testing, assisting with user testing, and working closely with the support and release management team to provide robust and performant solutions.
Qualifications/Experience
  • C# .NET experience, with server and ideally client-side experience.
  • Follows SOLID development principles, with experience of supportive frameworks/libraries.
  • Strong SQL knowledge, preferably MS SQL Server and/or MySQL.
  • Understanding of Securities Lending is desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area, e.g., Equity swaps.
  • Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality.
Additional Skills
  • Able to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with colleagues around the world.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in one or more of the following beneficial: Global One, RabbitMQ, BitBucket (Git), Bamboo, Java, Windows development.
