Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Full-Time Driver based in the Peterborough area. You will be responsible for the safe loading, securing and transportation of cars and trailers nationwide, representing the company with professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles and trailers across the UK using company transport equipment.
- Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles following company and industry best practices.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of transport units.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate clearly with the office team.
- Provide excellent customer service on collection and delivery.
- Adhere to all road safety laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (B+E or experience towing trailers is highly desirable).
- Professional driving or transport experience preferred.
- Confidence in handling and manoeuvring trailers and vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working.
- Good communication skills and a polite, professional manner.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide with occasional early starts, late finishes, or overnight stays.
