Security Officers support the Supervisor in maintaining a safe working environment, preventing loss or damage to company property, and ensuring compliance with all security policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with security policies and enforce them consistently.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to prevent unauthorised access and deter appropriation of company property.
- Adhere to all company policies and work within health and safety guidelines.
- Search staff in accordance with current procedures and policies.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Perform any reasonable activities required by the business.
- Book staff, contractors, and visitors correctly.
- Record bookings for all equipment.
- Book supplier vehicles and ensure all are sealed on arrival and departure.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with health and safety requirements.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
