Ensure all Store and Supplier Returns are processed end-to-end in accordance with company procedures. Investigate warehouse adjustments, conduct stock checks, and maintain accuracy and stock availability throughout the DC.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Unload, break down and locate all inbound Retail Returns from both internal and external sources.
  • Meet all KPIs set within the department.
  • Process all Retail and Internet Return types across the group.
  • Report potential quality or product issues to the Management team for review.
  • Complete returns documentation and liaise with suppliers via email and phone.
  • Maintain daily logs of all return consignments pending dispatch.
  • Sort, grade and up-cycle selected types of stock.
  • Assist with the development of colleagues and personal development.
  • Liaise with all operational functions within the DC to ensure stocks and returns are processed and stored in their respective locations.
  • Analyse adjustments and report findings.
  • Investigate stock movements within the department to ensure locations have the correct stock and quantities.
  • Complete any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the line Manager in line with current levels of responsibility.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Shogun/WMS skills preferred but not essential.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of literacy and numeracy to produce accurate documentation and maintain records.
  • Ability to prioritise work.
  • Team-working skills.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
  • Capability to communicate and operate with staff at all levels.
