Entry‑level role working as part of a team of Technicians in the Control Room. You will monitor systems, release orders, provide support, and report to ensure smooth operation of Kingsway automated equipment for the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SCADA, and CCTV systems, flagging issues to Engineering and Engineering Support teams.
  • Release retail store and Internet customer orders into WMS systems.
  • Complete and issue hourly, daily and weekly reports.
  • Manage user accounts for DC systems – Matflo WMS, Selektron, Control Tower, Message Broker.
  • Provide multi‑site support to users of Matflo WMS, primarily Kingsway, and raise issues via JD ‘Request Tracker’.
  • Escalate high‑severity issues to the Lead Technician.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Control Room or Helpdesk experience.
  • Experience within an automated distribution centre or similar site.
  • Use of handheld radios.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using ‘Request Tracker’ or other ticket management system.
