Job Description
The JD Group is recruiting for a Merchandise Admin Assistant (MAA) to join the Merchandising team at our Bury Head Office within the JD Sports Fashion fascia.
You will create and maintain purchase orders and data, supporting the team to achieve optimum efficiency and maximise profitability across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Order (30%)
- Create and maintain purchase orders on the JD system within a specific product area.
- Check and ensure all purchase orders are received by suppliers and filed correctly.
- Review all costs, selling prices and VAT within a specific product file, highlight issues to the Merchandiser/Assistant Merchandiser, and amend purchase orders as directed.
- Stock (40%)
- Schedule orders quarterly and new lines weekly.
- Check schedules to ensure the correct amount of stock is allocated in ratio.
- Amend schedules as directed by the Merchandiser/Assistant Merchandiser.
- Trade (30%)
- Run and distribute key reporting for Monday trade meetings.
- Review top and new line performance, suggesting actions with support.
- Work alongside the Digital team to ensure new lines are live on the website.
- Upload weekly price amendments as directed by the Merchandiser/Assistant Merchandiser and communicate to Retail.
- Build collaborative working relationships within teams and across functions.
