We are looking for a qualified/part qualified Management Accountant to join the JD Gyms Finance team. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance, and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile membership income to cash receipts.
- Analyse key cost areas and provide insight to support decision making.
- Work closely with budget holders to review performance and challenge spend.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecast cycles.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure strong financial controls.
- Deliver timely and accurate Group reporting packs.
- Drive process improvements and support wider finance initiatives.
- Assist with audits, projects, and team support where required.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Confident business partner with excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills; Oracle/TM1 experience beneficial.
- A proactive, detail oriented individual with a positive and driven attitude, who can add value through insight, challenge, and continuous improvement.
