Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant to join the Digital Reporting Finance team. This role plays a key part in producing accurate and timely management accounts for JD fascia across UK & Europe while supporting efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for JD fascia across UK & Europe
  • Manage P&L reporting and provide insights on cost lines to business teams
  • Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the Finance Manager
  • Identify and implement automation or streamline opportunities within our current processes to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues that delay month-end close processes
  • Support the timely and effective completion of the group audit, working confidently with Deloitte
  • Partner with commercial finance teams to deliver actionable insights that will support strategic decision‑making
  • Support the transformations team in projects that will be rolled out within the business

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast‑paced, multi‑fascia online retail or commercial environment
  • Attention to Detail: Able to analyse and clearly communicate the financial narrative behind cost bases
  • Problem solving: Strong analytical skills with a solution‑oriented mindset
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented attitude, capable of working across multiple functions
