We are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN/SEMH Tutors with PGCE or QTS qualifications to join our team in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas to work with students from 4-25 years of age. The ideal candidates will offer individualised instruction and support, helping students overcome learning barriers and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct personalised tutoring sessions tailored to the needs of students with SEN/SEMH, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Develop and implement customised learning plans in collaboration with educational professionals and parents.
- Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, keeping detailed records and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with best practices in SEN/SEMH education.
- PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) / QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or experience within a similar role.
- Proven experience working with SEN/SEMH students.
- Strong understanding of various SEN/SEMH conditions and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
