JDS Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Southwark who are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Reception-aged pupil with Cerebral Palsy on a 1:1 basis .

This is a long-term, full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Trial days are taking place immediately , with an immediate start available and the role continuing until at least July 2027 .

About the

Role: Supporting a Reception pupil with Cerebral Palsy on a 1:1 basis.

Providing personal care , including assistance with toileting .

Supporting the pupil with wheelchair mobility throughout the school day.

Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, therapists and wider school staff to ensure the pupil can fully access learning.

Supporting the pupil's communication and language development, working alongside Speech and Language recommendations where appropriate.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm .
