Secondary Science Teacher (QTS)

Position: Secondary Science Teacher (QTS) School Type: SEMH / SEND provision Location: East Ham, Newham Start Date: September 2025 Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (1 hr lunch) Salary: Competitive, DOE DBS: Enhanced DBS required (must be on file) Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons to KS3 & KS4 * Adapt the UK National Curriculum to meet diverse learners’ needs * Implement effective inclusion strategies to raise student achievement * Monitor and report on students’ personal and academic progress * Support continuous professional development for teaching staff Person Specification * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential * Minimum 6 months UK teaching experience, ideally in a SEMH/SEND setting * Strong track record of outstanding classroom practice * Skilled in differentiating lessons for a wide range of abilities * Excellent organisational and behaviour-management skills * Committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare What We Offer * Long-term role with a route to permanent contract * Supportive leadership and ongoing CPD * A referral bonus for successful introductions How to Apply Please reply to this email with your most recent CV attached.
