As a Business Studies Teacher at our SEMH provision, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students. You will work closely with a team of professionals to support students with a range of needs, fostering a safe and motivating learning environment where all students can succeed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is adaptable, empathetic, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people., * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.

  • Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students with SEMH, ensuring inclusive learning for all.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

  • Work closely with the wider team to develop personalized learning plans and strategies for students.

  • A degree in Business Studies or a related subject, and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Previous experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and/or 5, ideally within a SEMH or alternative provision setting.

  • A strong understanding of SEMH needs and how to adapt teaching methods to support students with varying learning abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with young people.
