The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join a growing manufacturing business based in Winsford. This is an office‑based role that will act as the key link between customers, suppliers, and internal production teams, ensuring orders are managed efficiently and delivered to the highest standards. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long‑term relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all account‑related matters. You will create accurate internal job sheets for customer orders, ensuring specifications including sizes, finishes, fire ratings, glazing, ironmongery, frames, and delivery requirements are correctly captured.

The role will involve liaising with customers to confirm order details, managing amendments, ordering stock and materials, and working closely with suppliers to monitor pricing, availability, and lead times. You will collaborate with sales, production, and shop floor teams to coordinate schedules, prioritise workloads, and ensure products are delivered on time and in line with customer expectations. In addition, you will identify opportunities to develop existing accounts, support business growth, and assist with resolving customer queries and escalations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and working within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Previous experience within account management, customer service, sales administration, project coordination, or a similar role
  • Experience within joinery, manufacturing, construction, or building products is highly desirable
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and scheduling abilities
  • Experience processing orders and producing accurate job sheets
  • Knowledge of stock management and supplier liaison
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT skills, including email, spreadsheets, and order processing systems
  • Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams
  • A proactive and customer‑focused approach
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for this role
