JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Production Operatives in Widnes
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including mixers, mills, conveyors, pellet presses, and packing machinery.
- Accurately weigh and add raw materials according to production schedules and formulations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Complete routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections and report any non-conformances.
- Record production data accurately using paper-based or electronic systems.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products using handling equipment where authorised.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and food/feed safety procedures.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or feed mill environment.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production formulations accurately.
- Good numeracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
We have the following shifts available:
Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
OR
Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
Β£12.71 per hour
