JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Appleton Warrington on a direct permanent basis.
Location: Warrington WA4
Salary: £12.34 per hour – £25,667.20 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 06:00‑14:00 & 07:30‑15:30 rotating weekly

Role:
- Pick stock as prioritised in line with despatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
- Replenish stock in the aisles to ensure continued picking efficiencies
- Offloading deliveries and locating in the warehouse ensuring a high level of stock accuracy
- Checking and signing for deliveries in line with supplier documentation
- Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements
- To support in the identification and elimination of waste in all its forms, including loading waste in the appropriate skip ready for disposal
- Assist in loading stock in a controlled and efficient manner ready for customer delivery
- Ensure that current and future health, safety and environment policy is adhered to continually support the creation of a centre of excellence culture
Experience / Skills Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Develops effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
- Physically fit to carry/pack loads for delivery
- Good level of IT literacy
- Positive “can do” and “gets it done” attitude
- Self‑motivated and takes pride at the task in hand
- FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right candidate
