Assembly Operators - AM & PM Shifts
Carmarthenshire | Full-Time | Monday to Friday / Monday to Thursday | Temp to Permanent
JDR Recruitment is currently recruiting a number of Assembly Operators to join a large, well-established manufacturing company based in the Carmarthenshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for people looking for stable, full-time work with genuine long-term prospects. Successful candidates will initially join on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following 12 successful weeks.
We have opportunities available across both Production and Finished Goods, so we're looking for people who enjoy practical, hands‑on work and are comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment.
Available Shifts
- Morning Shift
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:00pm - Afternoon Shift
Monday to Thursday
2:00pm - 10:00pm - No rotating shifts - you will be recruited for a set shift pattern.
What will you be doing?
- Working on a busy manufacturing and assembly line
- Assembling components and finished products to specification
- Using basic hand tools and power tools as part of the assembly process
- Fitting, securing and checking components
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Moving finished products safely through the manufacturing process
- Working within the Finished Goods department, preparing completed products for dispatch
- Handling and moving larger finished items - some physical work and lifting will be required
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
Who are we looking for?
Previous manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but we're particularly interested in people who have experience using basic hand tools and are confident working in a practical, hands‑on role.

Manufacturing | Assembly | Production | Warehousing | Construction | Carpentry | Engineering | Window/Door Manufacturing | Automotive | General Labouring
Most importantly, we're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and genuinely looking for a long-term opportunity.
You must be comfortable with physical duties, able to work on your feet throughout the shift and able to reliably get to the Carmarthenshire site for your chosen shift.
