JDR Recruitment are looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to work on contracts around the North of England.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Retail Merchandiser to ensure products are displayed attractively and stocked correctly across retail locations. The role involves implementing planograms, monitoring stock levels, and supporting sales by maintaining high visual standards in-store.
Key Responsibilities- Arrange and display products in line with company guidelines and planograms
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, tidy, and visually appealing
- Rotate stock and check expiry dates where applicable
- Set up promotional displays, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and seasonal layouts
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
- Build strong working relationships with store staff and management
- Carry out pricing checks and ensure correct labelling
- Provide feedback on product performance, customer trends, and competitor activity
- Complete required reports, audits, and photographic evidence of displays
- Travel between stores or locations as required
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or stock replenishment
- Experience reading and implementing planograms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual guidelines
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Full UK driving licence (often required for field-based roles)
- Basic IT skills (for reporting via apps or handheld devices)
