JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to work for an engineering company based in Trafford Park.
Job Overview
The Assembly Production Operative will be responsible for assembling products or components according to specifications, ensuring all items meet quality standards and production deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble parts and components into final products based on detailed instructions.
- Operate assembly line tools and equipment as required for the assembly process.
- Identify and report any issues or defects with components, wheelsets or equipment and assist in resolving problems.
- Maintain accurate records of the assembly process.
- Flexible across the department.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality control and performance are met during the assembly process.
- Ensure their work area is kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Qualifications: Math's and English G. C. S. E or equivalent
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and report work clearly.
- Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and working in a safe environment.
- Experience: Prior experience in mechanical assembly preferred, training to be given for the right candidate.
- Teamwork: Must be able to work within a team or on their own.

- Monday - Friday rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
