We are looking for an experienced Technical Application Engineer to join our growing client in Ivybridge
- Immediate start
- Previous experience within similar role required
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Permanent contract
The role
As a Technical Application Engineer your duties will be as followed
- Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for company products
- Support distributors, customers, and sales teams with product selection, trouble shooting and application advice.
- Respond to technical enquiries.
- Work in partnership with the sales team to convert new business.
- Assist with preparation of technical proposals, quotes and submissions.
- Monitor industry trends, ensuring you're knowledgeable on competitor activity, pricing changes and product developments.
- Support with the creation and review of technical documentation, case studies, product literature and application guides.
About you
- As a Technical Application Engineer, you will have the following skills and experience:
- HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understand electrical and industrial systems and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Able to travel to Ivybridge Monday to Friday
- Strong problem-solving skills
