We are looking for Stores Assistant to join our thriving client in Taunton
Pay: £13.33 an hour
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Immediate start
Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm Friday - 8:30am - 4pm
Temporary ongoing role
JDR are currently looking for a Stores Assistant. This is a role supporting logistics team in stock replenishment, releasing stock from Stores, stock control in line to comply with short- and long-term business goals. The role also includes cooperating with our production departments to make sure information is communicated to relevant parties.
The Role:
- Work closely with Production department for stock availability and replenishment.
- Deliver all required material to production lines.
- Work with Stores personnel to verify stock levels and to make sure, that stock could be released to production.
- Review stock levels to flag shortage of stock to purchasing team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintaining a continuous improvement approach.
- Any other ad hoc duties as necessary to the business, which may include covering for holiday and sickness absence
