Warehouse Operative
Location: Swansea, SA1 Area
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 2:00am - 9:00am, up to 6 days per week
Transport: Essential due to the early start time
Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for regular work with an early morning shift?
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Swansea. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, physically fit and enjoys working as part of a team.
What will you be doing?
- Accurately picking, packing and sorting customer orders
- Loading and unloading stock safely
- Handling and moving items weighing up to 30kg
- Operating warehouse equipment, including HLOP and PPT trucks, in line with safety procedures
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Working as part of a team to achieve productivity targets and meet customer deadlines
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
What are we looking for?
- Previous warehouse experience - essential
- A good understanding of warehouse operations and processes
- A flexible and positive attitude with a strong can-do approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical fitness, including the ability to safely handle loads of up to 30kg
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- The flexibility to work up to 6 days per week
- Your own reliable transport is essential due to the 2:00am start time
