We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse operation. This is a key role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring stock levels are controlled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse
- Carry out regular cycle counts and full stock audits
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Update stock records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Liaise with warehouse, transport, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and in line with company procedures
- Support inbound and outbound processes when required
- Produce stock reports and highlight any issues to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably within a warehouse or 3PL environment)
- Good IT skills, including experience with stock systems/WMS
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Experience using barcode scanning systems
- Knowledge of warehouse processes within a logistics environment
