We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy 3PL warehouse operation. This is a key role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring stock levels are controlled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse
  • Carry out regular cycle counts and full stock audits
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
  • Update stock records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Liaise with warehouse, transport, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure goods are stored correctly and in line with company procedures
  • Support inbound and outbound processes when required
  • Produce stock reports and highlight any issues to management

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably within a warehouse or 3PL environment)
  • Good IT skills, including experience with stock systems/WMS
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience using barcode scanning systems
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes within a logistics environment
