JDR Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and industry-leading organisation specialising in air filtration, HVAC solutions, and air quality management. Due to growth, our client is now looking to add to their Site Service Engineering team in the South of England. If you are an engineer who has operated within the air filtration and HVAC field and are happy to work in a role that requires regional travel then this could be the role for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of site-based engineering tasks, primarily focused on HVAC systems, filtration, and air quality solutions across the UK.
- Carry out HVAC filter changes (CFM) and APC system maintenance.
- Service and maintain dust collection / air pollution control systems.
- Perform AHU cleaning, coil cleaning, and system hygiene tasks.
- Install and maintain:
- Filter housings and frameworks
- Air intake screens
- Ductwork modifications and VCDs
- Access doors and pressure gauges
- Replace fan belts and mechanical components.
- Carry out site reporting and client communication.
- Identify additional works and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work to RAMS, site safety procedures, and compliance standards.
- Attend client meetings where required.
Skills / Experience:
Essential:
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical, or site service engineering.
- Full UK Driving Licence (max 3 points).
- Strong hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
Desirable:
- Experience with ductwork or sheet metal installation.
- Experience within large-scale or critical environments (e.g. hospitals, infrastructure).
- Knowledge of Air Pollution Control (APC) systems.
