The Opportunity
As a Site Coordinator, you will be the heartbeat of our on-site operation at Solihull, supporting a large team of over 200 temporary workers. You will be responsible for recruitment, induction, workforce planning, compliance, and providing exceptional service to both candidates and the client. This is a busy, people-focused role perfect for someone who is organised, engaging, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Attraction & Management
- Screening candidates and conducting interviews
- Verifying Right to Work documentation before interview
- Delivering inductions when required
- Managing recruitment for roles including: Line Workers, Reach Truck Drivers, Counterbalance (CB) Drivers and Warehouse Operatives
- Ensuring daily shift requirements are filled
- Managing rotas, timekeeping, absences, and behaviour
- Monitoring electronic time & attendance systems
- Being a visible presence on the shop floor to build relationships
- Supporting retention and engagement activities
- Completing weekly payroll accurately
- Ensuring correct hours, rates, and holidays are processed
- Delivering KPI reporting (daily/weekly/monthly)
Skills & Attributes Needed
- Experience in Recruitment and/or Customer Service
- Strong communication skills (additional languages desirable)
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and eager to succeed
- Energetic, positive, and detail-focused
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
