JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Semi-Skilled Fitters to join a busy assembly team. Although demand is currently steady, this is a great opportunity to register your interest ahead of upcoming vacancies.
Shift Pattern (38 hours per week): Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Duties include:
- Assembly and Fitting
- Assembling and fitting components to a high standard
- Using hand and pneumatic tools to complete builds
- Following technical drawings and work instructions
- Production and Quality
- Ensuring all builds meet required specifications and standards
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Preparing finished units for inspection
- Materials and Equipment
- Handling components and ensuring correct parts are used
- Reporting any shortages or issues to supervisors
- Health, Safety and Housekeeping
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Wearing appropriate PPE at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and team-working skills
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour rising to £12.71 per hour from April
