JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Internal Sales Administrator on behalf of our client.

Location: Runcorn

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 + Bonus (DOE)

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales function from enquiry through to order completion, working closely with Business Development Managers to maintain strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of service.
  • Process sales quotations, orders, and purchase orders accurately, and follow up on quotations to help secure new business.
  • Manage and maintain CRM systems, ensuring all customer interactions and records are up to date.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to expedite orders, handle returns, and resolve any non-conformances.
  • Support the wider sales team with coordination and administrative tasks, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships as a key to success in this role.

Experience / Skills:

  • Previous experience within the electrical field and a sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience within a sales position is required for this role.
