Our client in central Preston is looking for an assistant administrator to join this small Conveyancing Solicitors. This is a varied role where you will support the team of solicitors and work very closely with the clients.

Location: Preston

Hours of work: 40 hours

Pay Rate: c£25,000 - £27,000

Daily Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronic and manual filing)
  • Maintain and organise client files (physical and digital)
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and invoicing
  • Conduct basic legal research as directed

Qualifications Experience:

  • Previous experience in a legal or administrative role preferred
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with legal case management software is beneficial
  • Writes and speaks with ease
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
